1000 up for skipper

Congratulations to BBC Scotland skipper, David Holmes, whose 24 at home to Clydesdale this week pushed him over 1000 runs for the club. David who has been the anchor of many a BBC innings since the the club's formation in 2008, achieved the 1000 in 51 innings at an average of 25.6 - still the highest average of any member of the club.

Holmsey's achievement is still some way off for the rest of the squad, but a run of form might see Peter Mellis come close: he's currently on 821.
